Entre Caminos Organic Monovarietal Extra Virgin Olive Oil harvested early in the season during the first half of October. Cold-pressed using mechanical processes. Made from 100% Hojiblanca olives.
Tasting notes:
It has a slightly bitter taste with subtle yet intense spiciness and an extremely balanced proportion of oleic acids and antioxidants. In terms of its organoleptic qualities, it has hints of fresh grass, olive leaves, almond, tomato, and apples.
Hojiblanca variety:
Hojiblanca is the third most popular variety in Spain in terms of corp area. The provinces of Andalusia play a key role in Hojoblnca olive cultivation. Hojiblanca olives are used both for the production of table olives and olive oil. Olive Oil made from the Hojiblanca variety has a pleasant aroma of cut grass, fresh fruit with hints of almond, tomato and apple. The Olive Oil made from the Hojiblanca variety has intense fruitiness, slightly bitter, sweet and spicy.

ElOlivo Review:
This year's Entre Caminos Selección is a bit different than last year. Or, let's say completely different, but in a good way. It has pleasant aromas such as apple, green leaf and notes of green grass. We think the presence of the apple is stronger than last year's oil. If you taste the oil you will notice the major difference. The apple will be the first thing you notice, followed by some green almonds and the pleasant surprise of a medium black pepper flavour. A lovely twist at the end. Beautiful oil, more robust than last year. It draws a nice curve from the fresh apple to the black pepper, with balanced pungency and spiciness. We still love the marinated cod in Entre Caminos EVOO with ginger, coriander and lime served with fresh salad and fried rice. You can also try the roast veg with thyme and rosemary made with the Entre Caminos Selección. Enjoy!
