ElOlivo Review:
As its name suggests this is a magnificent oil with intense fruitiness. Perfect green aromas such as grass olive leaf and lettuce with some artichoke and notes of bitter almond. This is a strong oil for sure. At tasting it is a bit sweet in the beginning, then you will feel the green aromas along with the bitterness. Followed then by a kick from the spiciness with a vegetable and bitter almond aftermath. In terms of aromas and taste, everything is ten times stronger than usual. It is like fireworks in your mouth, colours and shapes everywhere. We use it raw and also cook with it, mostly pasta dishes, it is beautiful with vegetables or fish. We love it with oven baked mackerels. You just need some fresh mackerel from your local fishmonger, sea salt, black pepper, some lemon, and the Superbo. Simple and amazing. We think it is one of the strongest oils we have in the shop so far. We're sure you will be blown away by its strong aromas and taste.
