ElOlivo Review:
The Superbo of 2023 is absolutely superb. To be honest, we're not really surprised, considering the consistently amazing taste that the Quattrociocchi family delivers. It exhibits beautiful green aromas of green olives, freshly cut grass, olive leaves, and a hint of lettuce, complemented by subtle vegetable notes and a touch of bitter almond. On the palate, it boasts a rich vegetable profile with distinct green herb flavors. And let's not forget about its remarkable bitterness and spiciness; it packs a punch, so brace yourself! This oil is definitely not for beginners - it's robust and assertive. We enjoy using it both in its raw state and for cooking, particularly in pasta dishes. It pairs beautifully with vegetables and fish. Oven-baked mackerel is one of our favorites. All you need is some fresh mackerel from your local fishmonger, sea salt, black pepper, a squeeze of lemon, and the Superbo. Simple yet amazing. We're confident that you'll be blown away by its intense aromas and flavors.
