About Bodegas Toro Albalá:
The tale of Bodegas Toro Albalá begins in 1844. The Toro Albalá Family founded a small wine cellar to serve their customers house wine in the family tavern. After a few generations in 1922, José María Toro Albalá made an investment and bought the town's power plant and turned it into a wine cellar to make the family wine more than just a strong liquid. In the year 1922 Bodegas Toro Albalá was born. In the 1970s Antonio Sánchez took a different and new approach to winemaking. He turned his homeland, Andalusia’s unique grape variety, the Pedro Ximénez of Montilla Moriles’, into a piece of art and put the Bodegas Toro Albalá on the Word map of fine wines. Bodegas Toro Albala is known for the beautiful quality wine they produce, they also serve equally beautiful varieties of vinegar as well. In Madrid, we had the opportunity to taste the Bodegas Toro Albalá vinegar and it was love at first sight. So, we brought it back home to share with you.
Beautiful aged dry wine vinegar. The aroma of apples is distinguished with notes of raisins. At the tasting, it has a sweet entrance with definite acidity. We use it to dress our salads and for marinades. Also can be a great choice to accompany cheese or meat platters with some nice olive oil.
