ElOlivo Review - Viola Costa del Riparo Bio Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500ml) - Frantoio & Moraiolo Blend:
Introducing the exquisite Costa del Riapro from the 2023/24 harvest - a true treasure. Let's gently delve into its finer nuances. This exceptional organic extra virgin olive oil harmoniously blends Frantoio and Moraiolo olives, resulting in a delightful fusion. Upon uncorking the bottle, you'll encounter a magical bouquet of aromas: green tomato, artichoke, rosemary, apple, and fresh green herbs, all perfectly balanced. Subtle hints of peppermint add an enchanting complexity to this remarkable oil. During tasting, the flavors of artichoke and green almond take center stage, accompanied by a delicate infusion of fresh green herbs. Its medium spiciness and bitterness are impeccably calibrated. Describing the full essence of this oil with mere words is a challenge; it truly stands as a masterpiece from Italy. We recommend reserving this oil exclusively for finishing dishes or for dipping fresh sourdough bread, paired elegantly with San Daniele, Parma, or Serrano hams, olives, and a touch of Pecorino cheese. Simply divine!

ElOlivo Review - Quattrociocchi Delicato Bio Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500ml) - 100% Leccino:
The Delicato from Quattriciocchi is, like its name suggests, a super delicate oil. It's got these amazing aromas of artichoke, chicory, and green tomatoes, with a hint of fresh green herbs like mint and basil. When you taste it, you'll pick up on the flavours of artichokes and lettuce, followed by a little kick of black pepper, and it finishes off with this sweet almond goodness. The bitterness and spiciness are perfectly balanced, not too strong, not too mild. If you're into oils that are all about harmony, with just the right amount of bitterness and intense aromas, this one's for you. We only use it to put the finishing touch on our pasta or fish dishes. Oh, and it's a match made in heaven with some cheese or a meat platter, especially when you've got a tasty Italian wine to go with it. So go ahead and enjoy!

ElOlivo Review - Bodegas Toro Albalá - Arrope - "PX Grape Syrup" Condiment (500ml)
No doubt a must-have category. Our favourite condiment so far. Ever since we tasted it we try and use it as much as we can. Our neighbour became addicted to this stuff. Once you open it you will smell the beautiful sweet aromas of caramel, plum, grape, and raisin. At the tasting, the flavour of caramel is distinguished and followed by raisin and grape with notes of plum and fig. Surprisingly, it has some ‘hidden’ smokey notes. Its texture feels just like silk. Beautiful, we love it. We don’t even know how we could live without Arrope. We use it for dressing our salads, dipping with olive oil and marinating meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. For breakfast, try adding a few drops into your granola with yoghurt. It's just perfect. It is amazing with some brownies and vanilla ice cream. You name it. Amazing culinary experience.
Origin: Andalusia, Spain
Best before date: Arrope, due to its long-term stability, does not require an expiration date. Store in a cool, dry place.
