Sensory profile:

An intense and clear golden-green colour with warm yellow reflections. It reveals a green fruity intense smell with a delicate green olive note. Intensive fruity aromas such as, olive leaf, freshly cut grass, artichoke, green tomato and apple. Wide and with character, with smells of celery, lettuce and basil. The spicy and bitter tastes appear decisive, pleasant and balanced. In the end, green almond notes give the oil an elevated fragrance and quality. It is ideal for starters of lentils, carpaccio, soups, red meats or grilled wild game and seasoned cheese.

Itrana variety:

Itrana olives are a native variety in Lazio, Italy. It is mostly used as a table olive as its flesh easily can be removed from the pulp.  Its oil has remarkable fruity notes with medium bitterness- and spiciness. The Itrana Extra Virgin Olive Oil has an outstanding aroma of fresh-cut grass, artichoke, tomato and green almond.

About Quattrociocchi:

The family Quattrociocchi has been growing olives and making olive oil since 1888. Throughout many years the family passed on the knowledge and traditions to the next generation in order to help them to be successful in the future. Nowadays they are working on 110 hectares with 45000 trees. The third generation led by Americo Quattrociocchi utilizing the knowledge of hundred years of olive farming and milling made the company a huge international success. ElOlivo Review:

One of the best monovarietal olive oils made from the Itrana variety. Its aromas are tomato, green banana, artichoke, celery, green apple and green herbs. For us the aroma of fresh basil is distinguished. At tasting the fruitiness is outstanding with medium to high bitterness and medium spiciness. This oil is perfectly balanced with notes of green almond at the end. What can we say? This oil is perfect and we love it. If somebody asks us what a perfect Itrana olive oil tastes like, we would give them a bottle of Quattroqiocchi Olivastro. We use it only raw. We drizzle it on our roast potatoes, steaks, and pasta. The list is endless. Simply amazing taste.
